WOW, just simplify years of conflict down to a few nutters!

And your explanation for the influx of migrants isn't sound and there are several factors for this including wealthy nations in the Middle East and Asia who could support their fare share of refugees.

I'm completely opposed to migration just because someone doesn't like their own country. To move you should have to benefit your adopted nation.

Infidel.
There is mass migration all over the world.
Its the disparity between the rich and poor plus cheap transport that is making it happen.
Its just human boyles law matey.

One of the interesting things often said about Europe is its a failure and/or failing.

1. How come its been so much more successful that most shitholes?

In what way? The Greece and Iceland would probably vehemently disagree and I doubt the Irish, Italians, Spanish etc speak of the EU in favourable terms.

2. How come billions of people are willing to die to get here?

Migrants (most aren't refugees) want to come to certain parts of the EU. I don't see too many migrants want to plot up in southern Europe too much and there aren't 1000s up 1000s looking at Spain like they are Germany, or attempting to leave the other European powerhouse, France to come to the UK,

3. How come, for the most part, we've avoided armed conflict ( obviously Northern Ireland and bits of the old Soviet alliance asside)

The last war we had was with the Nazi's from 1939 - 1945. Nazi Germany was the last imperial force in western Europe. Neither us or our neighbours harbour imperial ambitions, so there is absolutely no requirement for war.

Branded

Whilst that has been true for the post war years the EU is falling behind now.

Massive unemployment in the south, falling GDP in many countries and now a migrant tsunami that will alter the character of the EU forever. The EU is the sick man of the developed world.

But it was the decision to throw open the borders to migrants in 2015 that marks the beginning of the end for Europe. Unless a decision is taken to close the borders to new migrants in 2016 - which does not seem likely - Europe will be completely overwhelmed.

Angela Merkel effectively extended the Schengen free movement area to Africa in 2015. She made it clear that anyone who makes it as far as the Mediterranean will be picked up in a boat, given immediate residency, plugged into the welfare system and given a passport after three years.

There are a billion people in Africa. 400 million live a subsistence life on a few dollars a day. There are many more outside Africa - in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, China - who would be much better off by moving to Europe.

The people traffickers, who are making $4,000 per head, have been given the green light by Merkel to start moving much larger numbers of people. It would actually make more sense to build a bridge to Turkey and Libya and let them walk across.

What will Europe look like in 100 years when tens of millions of predominantly muslim migrants have settled here? It will be unrecognisable.

There are many historical precedents for what is happening. The near extinction of the indigenous tribes of north America by European settlers must have felt like this. Ditto the aborigines in Australia, whose civilisation was wiped out by Europeans.

Closer to home the invasion of the Angles and Saxons, tribes from northern Germany, in the 6th and 7th centuries pushed the indigenous Celtic Britons to the fringes of Britain - Cornwall, Wales, Scotland. The saxons took nearly all the land in England and replaced Celtic culture with their own.

The referendum is really about whether we want to be exposed to the seismic shift taking place in Europe, where Islamic culture will be the dominant culture of Europe in the lifetime of your great-grandchildren.

There are plenty of things that can be better but there's fucking loads that can be worse.

The EU is a funny one. Their conspiracy seems watertight to me. I don't see the UK leaving the EU and I believe the case for a Brexit is a rigged game of dice.

I foresee the referendum on the EU going the way of the Europhiles based on scaremongering, lies, media favouritism and the intellectual youth who have seemingly been brainwashed into buying into the EU project. What follows is the implementation of the Euro (at some stage) and further down the line, the United States of Europe. That really does worry me.

And before the WHO Europhiles pepper me with insults, I'm open to the counter argument. It's all well and good being of an opinion, but I do and will on the road the the referendum take on board sides of the argument.

Re: New world order, rothschild's and the illuminati
The 'World Economic Forum' in Davos is a conspiracy.

A chance for CEOs of large companies to lobby (and no doubt corrupt) governments to create an uneven playing field in their favour and exclude innovators and entrepreneurs who would otherwise eat their lunch.

You can imagine the pitch:

"Mr. Prime Minister, we employ a zillion people in your country, we have invested a trillion dollars in factories and we pay [insert bogus figure] of all the taxes you collect. We are obviously too big to fail, but we've run into some, er, temporary trading issues and we need a small gesture on the part of your government.

Just an interest free bridging loan, a lucrative public sector contract and a tax holiday for the next ten years should help us through.Oh and by the way feel free to use our private island in the Caribbean next time you and your family need a break".

That's why all discussions between private corporations and public officials should be video taped and available on YouTube so that we can see what the fat cats are asking for and what our officials are promising them on our behalf.

That's one of the few measures both socialists and free market capitalists like me can agree on.

I agree that it's obvious, many wouldn't. I think that there's an attempt to mislead the public either by dishonesty or obfuscation. Anyone who saw Alastair Campbell on Question Time immediately after the last election would see tha.

The EU is quite obviously mugging us off. So, in that respect, it ain't a conspiracy because it ain't secret.

However, if its objectives are not those publicised, then the allegations of conspiracy would be valid.

Re: New world order, rothschild's and the illuminati
Seeing as a conspiracy is defined as "a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful". it is clear that the EU is not one.

It is statements like the EU that is one of the wilder ones that just make people disbelieve the lot.
